Spring Weather for March Match

          Saturday morning began a little on the cool side but soon warmed into a very beautiful day for shooting cowboy action.  We had a total of 27 shooters this month.  Stages were a repeat of a match written by Middle Creek Kid and Mort Dooley. 

          Every month it seems that new shooters contact us and want to come and watch or shoot with us.  This month was no exception with Wichita Colt joining us for his first time and his second cowboy match.  We hope to see him back for our April match and many more after that.

          After being the Top Gun last month, Sunshine Billy returned and repeated his performance taking the Top Gun for March as well.  That also made him the winner of the Silver Senior class.  Congratulations Billy for two in a row!!

          Mort Dooley, Lil Weasel and Middle Creek Kid followed Billy with Tenn Critr, Trooper Lark and Hogleg Horn close behind.  Ottway Smith was the top Duelist shooter.  Winchester Wood and Cool Breeze finished out the top ten in the rankings. 

          Tn Hawk is becoming one of our regular shooters and a good supporter of the club.  He finished 11^th overall and we enjoy seeing him every month as we do each and every cowboy or cowgirl who comes to shoot with us.  He also shot a clean match again this month.  Also shooting clean were Sunshine Billy, Mort Dooley, Tenn Critr, Winchester Wood and Lady Sedona.  If I have left anyone out this month or in the past, I apologize.  I never mean to skip over anyone when I am writing the newsletter but sometimes I miss things.  For a complete rundown of scores, check out the scores section on the website if you haven't already.
