Happy New Year

          Saturday was the first match of 2008 and we had a great day.  There were 27 shooters present to enjoy the rather warm temperatures for January.  We had some spectators join us to see the action.

          Middle Creek Kid and Mort Dooley teamed up to provide the stages for everyone.  This was the first match to utilize our new freight office on stage one.  We now have a couple of very nice stage fronts that make for exciting props to shoot from.

          Middle Creek Kid was the Top Gun overall shooting in the Modern class.  Mort Dooley and A. Wall followed shooting in Traditional with Lil Weasel our top Senior.  Tn Deadeye was the 49'er winner with Sunshine Billy taking Silver Senior.  Once again there was a wide array of categories at the top of the list.  To see all the scores, check out the Scores section of the site.

          There were 8, count them, 8 Clean shooters this month.  Middle Creek Kid, Lil Weasel, Tennessee Deadeye, Tenn Critr, Cool Breeze Turkey Foot Jim, Summer Breeze and Sheepdog Slim each hit every target during the match.  Congratulations to all these shooters.

**Special Notice**

          Our annual meeting will be held Jan. 26^th at 5:30 pm at the Ryan's restaurant on Memorial Boulevard in Kingsport, TN.  It is time to elect officers for the club and discuss club business.  Please attend and join us in a good meal while we plan for 2008.  This would also be an excellent time to pay club dues for the upcoming year if you haven't already.
