Greene County regulators set a new record twenty six shooters at march shoot!

It looks like deadeye can quit his 2^nd job as a rainmaker. march the 15^th dawned slightly overcast, but quickly gave way to bright sunshine . The shooter turnout was the largest ever, 26 shooters and 8 spectators. Sunshine Billy from Jamestown Tennessee was our farthest visitor, approximately a 4 hour drive.  ALSO joining us this shoot was the family of devil dog, summer dove, and their daughter Dixie land Delite. honeysuckle sue and Hogleg horn joined us from piney flats Tn.  oxbow al brought his own gang from Bristol, Va. his crew consisted of sandy trails, doc Willoughby and trooper lark and cove creek kid. dale brown from Greeneville shot his first match as well as a. Justin and William Westley.

c.a. Daver wrote the stages which were interesting and fun, having to shoot holding a baby in one hand and wearing a bonnet was a real challenge. c.a. daver headed up one posse and Tn. deadeye headed up the other. the stages were very well thought out and required using your brain.

Hi-wall Johnson was our top shooter overall. this is a real big accomplishment and john is the first duelist shooter to win a club match in east Tennessee. Tennessee deadeye was second, ottway smith was third, sunshine Billy was forth, and trooper lark was fifth.
