Regulators Celebrate the 4^th of July!!

          Hello saddle pals, the Regulators celebrated the 4^th of July this year and had a great match with lots of fun.  There were 35 shooters ready to have a blast!  Several of our friends from the Smokey Mountain Shootist Society made the trip to celebrate our nation’s birthday.  The weather was beautiful and not too hot.  Just right for a cowboy action shoot.

Congratulations to Widowmaker Hill for being the Top Gun this month.  He made an outstanding showing and is really fun to watch because he shoots Gunfighter.  He can really run those pistols.  Besides being the Top Gunslinger, he also shot a clean match.  Way to go Widowmaker.

          Mort Dooley, Sunshine Billy, Middle Creek Kid and Ziggy the Kid round up the top 5 spots.  Check out the Scores section on our website for the whole list of shooters.  With 35, there are just too many to list.

          Six cowboys shot the match clean and hit every target.  Lightning McCoy, Mort Dooley, Tenn Critr, Tio Don, Widowmaker Hill and Ziggy the Kid were all very accurate.  Congratulations to all of them too.

          Thanks to Cherokee Deacon, Middle Creek Kid and Mort Dooley for building permanent tables at our new covered loading/unloading areas. 

          Also, thanks to Sheez Packen for organizing all of the food that we were able to enjoy after the match.  Thanks to each person who brought food or drinks for everyone to enjoy as well.  The food was great and the fellowship following the match was very nice.

          Boozy Creek is heading up planning for our upcoming annual match in September.  If you have any ideas or comments, please let him know.  Keep an eye on our message board for items concerning the annual match.  It will be here soon.  We need help to make this a special match so cowboy up and lend a hand.
