The Greene County Regulators host a SASS affiliated Cowboy Action Shooting match the first Saturday of each month and on the fourth Saturday in months with five Saturdays at our range called Bordertown in the Bulls Gap/Rogersville area in Northeast Tennessee. Each match consists of shooting five or more stages that are timed and scored according to SASS rules.

Participants use two single action revolvers, a lever or pump action rifle in a pistol caliber, and a shotgun at steel targets.  All ammunition must be lead bullets.  Shotgun rounds must contain number 7 shot or smaller (no “magnum” rounds).  For a five stage match, you will need 50 rounds of pistol ammunition, 50 rounds of rifle ammunition, and 25+ rounds of shotgun ammunition.  All shooters and spectators must wear eye and ear protection during the course of the match.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9:15 a.m.  Mandatory safety meeting begins at 9:20 a.m.  The match begins at 9:30 a.m.  You must be registered by 9:15 a.m. to shoot the match.  GCR members $10.00, Non-members $15.00, First time shooters are free.
